Members of the association will have the chance to vote on some important issues that will shape the future of the GCMIA, including

• - the board members for the following term
• - other procedural matters including the accounting reports and appointment of an auditor.

Only fully paid members will be entitled to vote at this meeting but facilities will be available prior to the meeting to sort out your membership if you haven’t already done so.

All members are invited to nominate for a board position. Nominations must be supported by two other GCMIA members. Please note that those appointed to the committee will be required to devote a stipulated amount of hours per month to the association.

If you would like to apply for a position on the board, please email secretary@gcmia.org.au for a nomination form. The closing date for nominations is 26^th November, 2008. Please note no late nominations forms will be accepted.

Official notification about the meeting has to be sent out 14 days prior to the meeting; this will include the agenda and outline specific business for the meeting. The board nomination information will be circulated then.
