The association aims to co-ordinate and advise people on the coast in generating a self-sustaining music industry. The GCMIA will, with the support of Qmusic Queensland's peak music industry body, work out the best way of generating a music scene throughout the entire Gold Coast, from Coolangatta to Beenleigh. Since our inception in 2003, we have expanded our region to cover artists of Northern NSW. A central part of the association will be to promote, train and market the local industry.
